I’ve written essentially the same post over and over and over again, and it feels pretty futile, to be honest, but here we are. (I should probably write something about the rise of fascism, too, but I have a migraine and so that won’t be happening this evening.)

I’m going to link out to a few of the other versions of this post that I’ve already written. Most of the books included here are relatively recent, published within the past year or so. Some are older. Normally I’d give you a mix of adult and youth, fiction and nonfiction, but today it’s adult nonfiction for you. And that’s the end of that content note.
